Camera Obscura

School Holiday Workshop. 9th October.

Follow in the footsteps of artists like Vermeer as we use light and reflection to create the perfect drawing.

The father of the pinhole camera, then the Brownie, the Camera Obscura was used by artists to project images onto walls and help them sketch.

In this workshop, tamariki create their own Camera Obscura, learning along the way how it captures an image and reflects it back to you, and draw their image of the Cottage gardens.

Tickets includes a tour of Nairn Street Cottage.

Wednesday 9 October | 10am – 12:30pm
Suitable for ages 8 – 13.
$35 | Bookings essential
